PM sets up government commission to develop drones
MOSCOW, Feb 14 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has set up a commission to develop drones, according to a ruling released late on Monday on the official Internet portal of legal information.
“The government of the Russian Federation rules: to establish a government commission on the matters of development of unmanned aircraft systems,” the document read.
President Vladimir Putin earlier ordered the government and association AI Alliance to think of expansion of the territories where experiments with drones are done by September 1. Putin promised to hold a special meeting on drones with the representatives of ministries and related companies in March–May.
